THE PSALMS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING

THE PSALMS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING

WHEN WE STUDY the Psalms after the book of Job, we'll find a lot of psalms of Thanksgiving and Praise (praise psalms are called Hallel psalms, as in Hallelujah=praise the Lord). These psalms, as can be seen by reading the link below,  are not without psychological value, apart from their theological or literary value. Having a sense of gratitude, feeling one is blessed now or in the future (optimism), is part of psychological health too. I'm sending this link now because, since it's posted in today's news, I may not be able to find it later, though it's also posted on my Facebook page.
