Persona (Ingmar Bergman, 1966) is complete on youtube. Click on the links below or follow the movie yourself after the first link (segments are usually seriatim, in order). Of course, you can view the movie in the library too, as many times as you wish. The film requires repeated viewings and this is a good opportunity to view the movie several times with your dorm mates or friends, followed by discussion.
Each student should prepare a few comments on the film, based on your personal response or on research, in class. Each student will be allowed to speak for about 2 minutes, so organize your thoughts. Right now I'm not sure if we'll see the film on Friday after all; we might use that time for another Bergman film or a film by another director.
